Behold….THE VALKYRIE!
Well, Dani Moonstar was such a hit, it was time for the first Valkyrie to make her appearance. Now there’s a lot of similar elements in her and Dani’s looks, both being Valkyries and all. Remember that the version of Dani I did, she was the Herald to Hela, hence a little more pomp to her.
Obviously there are going to be more Asgardian/Norse details, but the ‘winged’ or ‘wind’ elements are still lingering. I made her hair brilliantly bright with very little shading to give a more ethereal effect. And if you are wondering, I couldn’t bring myself to draw those boob bowls. I couldn’t do it.
Guys, hey, guys. Do you remember that time that Coulson called Natasha and she ended up forming the Avengers? Remember how she did that by digging up Bruce Banner and introducing Steve to him then was the voice of reason when Tony and Steve were bickering and then how she brought Clint back from being mind controlled so that they can be a team? Remember that? Remember how the Black Widow out smarted a god? Remember that time she kept her shit together when the Hulk attacked her, even though she was really scared? Remember when she knocked an alien off his flying scooter and figured out how to drive it despite it being extraterrestrial tech, then got her ass up to the top of Stark Tower, found Loki’s staff and saved the world from being invaded by turning off the machine?
Remember how she was the central character of the whole freaking movie?

You’re a spy, not a soldier.I love her in the final scene with the Chitauri so, so much. She’s the only one of them we see figuring out where their weak spots are, how their bodies operate, how they fly their flying things. She takes them out with their own weapons. We see the ferociousness on her face, the effort involved in every movement, and she just never stops. She’s probably my favorite female superhero that I’ve ever seen onscreen (not that there are a whole lot to choose from, dammit, but still).
